Meet Our Founder
Gurvinder Chaggar established Ria-Architecture as a forward-thinking architecture and interior design consultancy, driven by modern principles.
Before founding his own agency, Gurvinder amassed years of experience as an independent contractor, collaborating with global architectural firms and smaller agencies.
With a diverse portfolio spanning schools, health centers, hospitality venues, fitness facilities, industrial units, and care homes, Gurvinder has honed his expertise in navigating the unique challenges of various sectors. His scope encompasses both commercial and residential projects, offering a wealth of experience to draw upon.
Renowned for seamlessly integrating into project teams at pivotal stages, Gurvinder has earned a reputation for adaptability and quick learning. His ability to adjust to different cultures, construction methods, and materials has made him a sought-after professional in the industry.
Why 'Ria'
RIA derives from the Spanish word for ‘river’.
Rivers are free flowing, providing sustenance and a lifeline to various forms of life, rejuvenating the land with freshness and growth. Our approach is to take these attributes and apply them to architecture and design.
Our ethos is to provide that same lifeline to existing buildings, respectfully using land for the growth and prosperity of our communities. We design to provide freshness and growth to local areas, businesses and buildings whilst caring for and protecting nature.
